We adopted Sonny in June. We had been working with Shirley to adopt a Golden after the loss of our 13 year old Sheltie. We wanted a dog that would get along with our two small children, cats, and Simon our 13 year old Keeshond. We wanted a dog that would play ball and would be a happy addition to our family.
We had interviewed a couple of dogs, when Shirley said she had a real lover for us. We packed up the family one Sunday morning leaving Roseville for a long family trip to Santa Cruz. This is long for a 2 year old and a 5 year old.
We met Sonny in a parking lot along the freeway to Santa Cruz. It was love at first sight. He is such a great addition to our family. He loves to play ball, sit by your side, and just give hugs and kisses. It has been a year since we adopted Sonny and he has adjusted to us and all the other members of the family.
We love him very much!!.
