Adopted November 18, 1997 - March 19, 2004

Wilson was adopted from Norcal Golden Retriever Rescue in 1997. His purpose was to keep Caliber company and for 7 years he did just that. They had a few years just by themselves to run and play until Quinn and Cairo came to spoil their fun. Wilson and Caliber still shared a kennel when Wilson wanted to spend time outside (which is not often). He had been the Kruger "house dog", spending his days lying on his bed and periodically moving to lay in front of the sliding glass door when the sun shone in.

We made the decision to help him go to the Rainbow Bridge on March 19, 2004. I didn't think that day would come so quickly. I had hoped for just a few more years. He was a wonderful companion and teacher to all of our dogs, not to mention the favorite of everyone who visited us. He trusted us to give him a good life after being a stray and gave us his unconditional love. We only hope that he knew how much we loved him and how much he will be missed.

Wilson, you will forever be in our hearts. Steve and Maxe Caliber, Quinn, Cairo, Canon and Nani, too.
